Runners will have a unique opportunity to test themselves for a benchmark metric on Friday, July 29, at the second annual Main Street Mile in downtown Jonesboro.
The evening event is broken up into several heats. The first will be a fun run with a clock, but no chip timing. Remaining runners will be split into at least two chip-timed heats with runners of similar ability.
The run was accompanies the Arkansas Ride for the Cure packet pick-up and late registration, which will also occur at Brickhouse. In addition to the spectators lining the course, Brickhouse will host spectators on their balcony and the awards ceremony will have a post-run party atmosphere on the restaurant’s rooftop.
Additionally, all runners will receive a discounted entry if they are also entered in following day’s Arkansas Ride for the Cure.
